I now get Wednesdays off work, and took the opportunity to go for a walk by the lake this afternoon. It's the first time I've really been outside (other than crossing the street from my car to work--by the way, last time people started honking at me as I waited patiently on the corner. Uncouth, if you ask me) in a long time. If it weren't overly windy (a little wind is good), I'd say the weather's perfect right now. If I can't see the sun, it's a good day for me.
Today was Freud-day in Methods class. I quite agree with my prof that "I hate this shit...it sends me into paroxysms of rage." Well, perhaps I don't get worked up about it like she does, but I do think Freud is entirely wrong about everything.

Taking walks by the lake is a lot more enjoyable if you don't have to write essays about it for your english class.
Did your prof really say that?

Oh come on, don't you feel connected to the land? Yeah, I don't think I could write an essay about that either. A poem maybe, involving some mathematical equations (ooh, I should post that poem, come to think of it) but not an essay.
My prof sure did say that, in exactly those words. She tends to say things like that every day.
Sounds like a pretty awesome prof. But what she should have said is this:
"O woe! O woeful, woeful, woeful day! Most lamentable day, most woeful day, That ever, ever, I did yet behold! O day! O day! O Day! O hateful day! Never was seen so black a day as this: O woeful day, O woeful day: Freud-day in Methods class!"

Ah, but this is also the prof that was mocking people who think "Shakespeare is such a genius, and I weep every time I read him because he's such a genius!"
