What A Wonderful World

Here's Ryan doing an excellent Yoda rendition of What A Wonderful World, complete with froofs! Yoda Choir...well Blogger won't let you click right on it, so here's the link: http://www.freewebs.com/meganmain4/WhatAWonderfulWorld.mp3
And many many thanks to Ryan for de-statickation; mp3s may be reposted in the forseeable future.

In an interesting twist of fate, Adam J. Mack won the Engineering Faculty Prize. He's my old highschool buddy that I tied with for the Governor General's Bronze Medal in grade 12. It's like we tied...again! Good job, Atom Bomb! Plus, I get "Great Distinction" tacked onto my degree.

The University never gets anything right. I mean, I tell them that I wanted to join WUSC this year (I've spent two months trying to join—nobody will help me! Maybe since I'm not a "student" or something), and that I helped people with essay writing, and that I enjoyed my science classes, and then they go and publish some crap about how I'm involved in WUSC activities and tutor physics students! I'm the one who required physics tutoring!! They could have highlighted some more impressive things than taking creative license. I bet I'll get in trouble for this. Double latte!

I forgot to mention that the other day I also ran into my Crakespeare prof, who happens to be the English Graduate Chair as well. She didn't mention anything about how I wrote "Crakespeare" instead of "Shakespeare" all the time on the final exam. Maybe she didn't notice...

Does writing Crakespeare once count as all over? I'm sure you told me you only did it once.

Laurel? Leadership? Those can hardly be accurate. But I might need some tutoring if you're available.

And I can right click the link.

Oh hush you. Where's my $20 anyways? Since I didn't write "Shakespeare" at all, I think it counts as all the time. I'll try to set up a tutoring appointment so I can explain it to you. Gosh, can they even call it "tutoring" if I did it for free? Or if I was coerced into it?

I didn't mean you can't right click the link, I mean you can't click right on it. As in, directly on it, because it won't take you anywhere.

Oh! Well look at that...I can click right on the link too! It's working!

One Crakespeare might get you a Mojito. Or maybe just the Mint leaves. Or a leaf. It's in the Mail.

I have made many calculations. According to these calculations:

1. Saskatchewan isn't a rectangle. It's almost a quadrilateral, but not quite a quadrilateral, but approximately a quadrilateral. I just wanted to say "quadrilateral" three times.

2. Lorne Calvert is good at whacking diagrams with a pointer.

3. I couldn't right click on the link, but then I could. After closer inspection, I found that your browser takes you to the mp3 if it sees that you have already opened it in the history.

4. It's as if you tied with that high school guy again .... except you beat him because he didn't get the President's Medal!!

5. Have you told brit and Jacenta you want to join WUSC? Why won't they let you? Do they have a secret password to get in?

6. Where's this article that they wrote about you?

Well good news: I'm now in WUSC! But also bad news: I am currently unable to speak; some people just phoned me to ask how to pronounce my name (serious! I got two phone calls just about that!) and I'm not entirely convinced they could understand me. oog

Oh no, the cold is that bad? Did you grunt in Morse code?

Feeling much better today. I don't do morse code. Did I ever tell you about the time some Americans thought they were being clever by speaking piglatin in front of me? Unbreakable code, that one. In their defence, they probably thought I was French.

No, what is the story?

Did I tell you Dan's story about the time he went to the U.S., and an army recruiter told him he speak pretty good english for a Canadian? (if I remember correctly)

Ohh, someone already heard the story.
