And also, somewhat less newsworthy, the 5th of May is St. George's Day. It's kind of like Talk Like A Pirate Day, but with more dragon-fighting goodness.
I think Discipline is my favourite track so far.
Ughh, it would be. What on earth is wrong with you, did you only listen to the first four tracks yet or something?
By the bye, Meathead knows why you like Discipline.
Guess what the bitrate is on those 24/96 WAVE ones...
Ok I'll just tell you. 4608 kbps!
I saw that. A 1 Gb torrent download. That's enormous for 10 songs. Are there multiple tracks? Did you download it?
Of course there are multiple tracks, it's the whole album. Or are you under the impression that the album consists of Discipline? :P I only got the mp3s and a multitrack of one song, so far. I don't really have need of anything else at this time, plus I got the deluxe edition.
I think it's clever how they're using torrents to distribute the huge-bandwidth formats, and are only using their own servers for the mp3s. If people don't have to pay for the album, then NIN shouldn't have to pay for bandwidth.
Quiet, you! :P
Which song did you get the multitrack of? I suppose they would have to charge a fee of some sort otherwise if they allowed direct downloads of the large-bandwidth items, just to pay for the band-width. But torrents are a much better way to distribute anything anyway. The rate of distribution is much faster and they wouldn't have to worry about their servers going down like with Ghosts.
What the heck was I talking about, "deluxe edition"? You'll have to forgive me, I'm expecting my DE of Ghosts in the mail tomorrow, and was mixing the albums up. I've been paying attention to the multitrack discussions about both albums, so it was a moment of confusion.
