This is retarculous. For tomorrow, I have to read King Lear and a 40-page essay about it for my Methods class, and Romeo and Juliet for my Crakespeare class; revise the written assignment after today's discussion; do the written assignment for tomorrow; I should finish the Methods readings that I was supposed to have finished for today but didn't despite getting up before 7:00; and, I should also read the three essays for Thursday Methods class, since I'm in class and at work from 9:30 to 10:00 tomorrow (not just half an hour, unfortunately) and found out yesterday that Methods homework takes more like five hours than three.

Or maybe University is supposed to be challenging. I'll try to stop complaining.

but king lear is good! heh, reminds me of my shakespeare classes. took two, and well, i think i read one play in total for both classes. whee. in my opinion, a great prof. ^_^

and yeah, just had my first class today. was told by both ta and prof that if i miss one assignment (and some are stupid in-class, not for marks pieces of crap), i'll fail the course. i say goddamnit.

Crakespeare is never good. This is my second Crakespeare class as well, but the King Lear is for a Methods class. Methods is also never good.

Sometimes, the best thing you can do is metaphorically stick your middle finger up to "the man."

I'll let you decide how to get it done.

University is supposed to be challenging, not impossible. These sound like grad class level, not undergrad. Might not be a bad idea to go to the Methods prof and ask if she can lighten up a bit. 3-5 hours of work per night shouldn't be the expected norm. Go to the department or to Luther and tell them how much work she expects, see if they think it's reasonable.
